E.D.E.N. Digital is an online filmmaking project for the LGBTQ+ community funded by the Government’s Coronavirus Community Support Fund and distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund.
The theme is ‘How to make films about you and your work’. The aim of this course is to empower the participants with all the tools they will need to make a film about their story, business or project using just their phone, or whatever camera they have available.
The course will include:
*10, 2-hour interactive online filmmaking workshops, covering storytelling techniques, sound recording, and editing.
* Online communal editing sessions, group discussions and feedback sessions.
* 1-2-1 Zoom call for each participant to talk to the tutors about their film.
* Each participant will create a short film that will be premiered via an online community screening.
There will also be 5 online masterclasses about filmmaking with established filmmakers. Details for these can be found here.
The online filmmaking project will be delivered by award-winning filmmaker Brett Chapman and E.D.E.N. Film Productions’ founder Claire Watkinson.
E.D.E.N. Digital launched Tuesday 1st September 2020.
