We are excited to announce that the E.D.E.N. Film Club will launch Thursday 5th June, 6-8pm!
The E.D.E.N. Film Club is a space where we can learn, support and thrive together in community. It will be a space for all experiences and all LGBTQIA+ stories, where now more than ever, we need to keep sharing and seeing our invaluable stories on the big screen.
The Film Club is set up to provide a monthly, regular place for LGBTQIA+ filmmakers to form connections, support each other, collaborate on projects, problem-solve, learn, and feel held by the beautiful and creative intersection that we sit in of LGBTQIA+ folks in film. The sessions will not be entirely fixed in structure and delivery, and so we welcome requests from attendees to shape the monthly sessions that will then ensure everyone can get the most out of the Film Club.
We welcome all forms of practicing filmmakers, from no experience/amateur to professionals. Our sessions will focus on DIY/guerilla-style filmmaking methods.
The Film Club is for members of the LGBTQIA+ community aged 18+. It is free to attend but we welcome contributions from those who are able to.
We know that a valuable, kind and supportive community is highly sought after, and these are some of the core values that we aim to instil into each session of the Film Club.
